Whatever Productions is a group of passionate musicians and audio professionals with over 60 years of combined experience. Our love for all things audio means that we are able to provide the best music production services to our clients. We strive to bring out the most unique sounds in any project. Whether it’s producing original music, recording soundtracks or providing mixing and mastering services, our team will make sure that you get the perfect sound you need.

Chris MacMillan

Chris started his musical journey at the age of 5. He trained classically in piano for 15 years and voice for 10. He started learning other instruments (bass, guitar, drums) in high school and college. Even though it was assumed that he would go into some kind of musical performance it was the technical side of musical production that sunk its teeth in. After starting to learn the basics of consoles and microphones in high school he continued his “on the job” training while touring with local bands while getting a communications degree at the University of Northern Iowa. School for audio engineering followed after which a wide variety of work in the entertainment industry including 16 years at Walt Disney entertainment and a variety of freelance studio work in Los Angeles, Nashville, and Florida. Composing music for video projects started in 2010 and continues to this day. Chris’ wide range of musical background and experiences allows him to composes freely in a variety of styles, from classically tinged cinematic pieces, hard rock jams, quirky undefinable ditties and everything in between. He would love to write the piece that is going to be the perfect fit to your project

Tom Carrigan

Since the first time I slipped the needle into the groove, I have had a passion for music. The art, the emotion, the drive to create that emanated from those records compelled me to learn how it was done. Over the years, I have learned to focus the passion and curiosity that I have for music into whatever I am striving for. This has led me down many paths during my 30+ year career; music recording and mixing; all aspects of audio production and post-production for commercials, television, and film; even video production from live television to commercials and corporate video. I’ve been fortunate enough to receive accolades for my work from Addy Awards to Golden Reel and Daytime Emmy nominations. With Whatever Productions, I have the privilege of working with some of the most talented people I have ever known. The fact that I count them as some of my best friends is one of the great pleasures of my life.

Frank Scheuring

Frank is an award-winning rerecording mixer and sound editor whose career spans over 20 years. His credits include the groundbreaking Discovery Channel miniseries Planet Earth, Madden 23 (EA), Madden 20 (EA), NBA Live (EA), StarTalk (Nat Geo), Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan (G4TV), National Geographic: Explorer, In Performance at the White House (PBS), and many others. In addition to television programming and video games, he has worked with numerous political candidates, government agencies, production companies, and corporations. Frank has received four Telly Awards, ten TIVA Peer Awards, and an MPSE Golden Reel nomination. He has also been a part of programs that have been nominated for a dozen Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Sound Mixing for Planet Earth: Pole to Pole.

Ed Llerena

Ed is an accomplished audio system design engineer, consultant, and programmer by day, and a singer/songwriter by night. His love for music shines through his songwriting as his music has been placed in both movies and television shows, with one of them even hitting the Top 10 on Billboard! Recently, Ed was recognized with a few awards including the 2022 TEA Award for Outstanding Achievement at Universal Studios Beijing, 2022 TEA Award for Live Show “How To Train your Dragon: Untrainable”, and 2021 TEA Award for Entrance Experience at St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station.
